Community Speed Watch - How to enquire about getting involved

Good morning lovely Residents,

Do you have a spare few hours from time to time, and a passion for community safety? If so then volunteering for community speed watch could be for you.

There is already a well established team for Chandlers Ford, but we do not have a team for Eastleigh Central (Boyatt, Allbrook, Stoneham, Town Centre). 

To express interest please email speedwatch@hampshire.police.uk. Someone will come back to you with more information, and to discuss how things work.

The speed watch teams, gather vital data as well capture details of speeding vehicles so that education can be given around the issue of speeding.

Additional Note: I will be away from work as of Thursday 26th March 2026 as my second baby will soon be arriving. While i'm away i will have no access to Hampshire Alerts, and all alerts will be generated by my PCSO colleagues Norbert and Myra. I will see you all in 2027.
